We are the Tongan members of Hawthorne United Methodist Church. We have worshiped here for almost 15 years and it is a blessing to have Hawthorne UMC be our home. We are the largest ethnic group that worships at Hawthorne and continue to grow. The Pastor of the church is Rev. Teresa Santillana. The Tongan Fellowship is under the leadership of Viliami Heitonga Atu. It is common for Tongans to be “Lay” driven where everyone has a vital role in maintaining and leading our several ministries. We are predominantly a Young Adult Group with an average age of 30. We are blessed with several of young couples, children, youth and are graced with wise and mature members too. We are a loving and open Fellowship that only wants to serve and praise God. We invite everyone to join us and participate in any of our scheduled activities or worship times.
